Educational Activities

Education, conservation, and research are three fundamental objectives at every modern zoological institution.

Staff who are related to the Parques Reunidos Foundation at our parks give annual lectures and courses to divulge the work of the Foundation in collaboration with other foundations, universities, and zoological institutions.

The Parques Reunidos Foundation signed a collaboration agreement with the Veterinary School at the UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) to organize research and teaching activities, as well as to foster professional cooperation in the technical and veterinary counseling fields.

In addition, the Foundation holds a collaboration with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Montes (College on Forest Engineers) that allows to video track imperial eagles through a TV monitor located next to the imperial eagle installation at the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid.
