EAZA-EEP that researches the Herpes Virus affecting elephants kept at zoological institutions.
Herpes Virus is the main cause of elephant mortality at zoological institutions. Given the high number young elephants affected by this disease, EAZA has developed an EEP to research the virus, urging all institutions to participate.
